We are Hiring - Assistant Brewer/Cellar Person

WHO WE ARE - Mutual Respect Brewers Co-Op is a newly formed cooperative, comprising 3 craft brands (Broken Goblet Brewing, Trauger Brewing and Lucky Cat Beer Co) and one distillery (unnamed to date). Currently our associated taprooms, production facilities and corporate headquarters are located in Bensalem, PA.

WHAT WE DO - Our corporate team is composed of leadership from the respective brands to support our vision of shared economies of scale in the production of our innovative craft beverages, our vibrant event-based business model, and our future growth to more locations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO - Broken Goblet is on pace to triple our output this year and that is a metric ton of work for one person. We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working and dedicated individual to join our small but growing operations team!

With the recent launch of our new core brands into the retail distribution space we are in need of a team member that would be responsible for many aspects of the day-to-day operations of the brewery including active roles in brewing, cellaring, packaging, and cleaning. With the launch of a soon to be branded distillery on-site, candidates with distilling and spirits experience are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• CIP/SIP of all brewery vessels

• Wort and beer transfer

• Yeast harvest, pitching and health management

• Fermentation monitoring

• Manual cleaning of brewery equipment and parts

• Assist Head Brewer with wort-creation and brew house operation

• Assist with packaging including canning and keg filling & cleaning

• Strict adherence to sanitary and record-keeping standards

• Basic facilities maintenance

• Basic brewery equipment maintenance

Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.

• Minimum 2 years of commercial brewpub or production brewery experience

• Strong work ethic and self-starting attitude

• Good interpersonal skills and positive mental attitude

• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack

• Ability to lift 55 pounds at a time and throughout the day

• Occasional evening and/or weekend availability

Pay range is $22 to $24 an hour.
