We are Hiring - Mixologist



WHO WE ARE - Mutual Respect Brewers Co-Op is a newly formed cooperative, currently comprising 3 craft brands (Broken Goblet Brewing, Trauger Brewing and Lucky Cat Beer Co) and one distillery (unnamed to date). Currently our associated taprooms, production facilities and corporate headquarters are located in Bensalem, PA. We are about to open a new onsite taproom that will serve as the new permanent home for our brands while the large room converts to it's true calling as an entertainment venue.


WHAT WE DO - Our corporate team is composed of leadership from the respective brands to support our vision of shared economies of scale in the production of our innovative craft beverages, our vibrant event-based business model, and our future growth to more locations.


WHAT YOU'LL DO - With the launch of our new taproom, we are seeking an experienced mixologist to build out, curate and present a new, upscale cocktail program to our patrons, and act as a brand ambassador within our compound once the new distillery is open and functional.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work in partnership with the General Manager to execute the smooth and flawless operation of our new bar with a specific focus on creating, preparing, and serving cocktails

  • Complete all bartender duties when necessary

  • Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation

  • Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the bar

  • Ensure that all details of service are performed by the bartenders to expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service in line with Mutual Respect standards

  • Train other bartenders and service team members on the cocktails you create

  • Drive cocktail menu changes to ensure fresh, innovative and seasonally accurate cocktails are available on the menu

  • Assist with beverage procurement, beverage costing

  • Create all house-infused ingredients, including house made bitters, syrups and other infusions

  • Contribute to staff briefings as required as well as lead staff training sessions for all beverage products

  • Complete product requisitions accurately and maintain bar beverage inventory control

  • Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending of drinks in line with state law

  • Monitor bar opening and closing duties and completed daily to standard by bartenders


Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application. Other requirements include:


  • Minimum 3 years of cocktail-specific experience

  • Experience curating a cocktail menu from recipe design to execution is highly encouraged, and we may request examples

  • Knowledge of craft beer will be welcomed but not required

  • Strong work ethic and self-starting attitude

  • Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude and professional presentation

  • Ability to lift 55 pounds at a time and throughout the day

  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships.

  • Must be available nights and weekends

Pay range is $16 to 18 an hour plus tips.

  • Must have reliable transportation

They are to conduct themselves within the limits of the law and with concern to the education of responsible consumption at all times. This includes working hours, trade shows, festivals and while entertaining in the name of the company or its affiliates.
