Piebald is an American indie rock/emo band formed in 1994 and gained prominence during the late 1990s and early 2000s with their emotionally charged and often introspective music. Their sound combines elements of indie rock, punk, and emo, and their lyrics often explore themes of personal relationships, and self-discovery.
Albums like We Are the Only Friends We Have and If It Weren't for Venetian Blinds, It Would Be Curtains for Us All solidified the band as one of the most important of the indie emo scene in the early 2000s.
