Without a doubt, one of the most talked about rock bands to emerge from the Philadelphia in the past two decades, Octane earned a name for themselves playing no-frills, no-nonsense, rock 'n roll with a sound that was reminiscent of the metal acts of yesteryear. Forming in the 2000 with Brian Bortnick on vocals, Brian Quinn and Greg Tripp on guitar, Joe Berndt on bass, and Bob Pirylis on drums, the band headlined sold out shows at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia and was voted #1 Unsigned Band in a Y-100 (WPLY) Listeners' Poll in 2004 and 2005.
