This August, the Music Room brings together two of the region's most dynamic, genre-bending underground acts for an unforgettable night of heavy riffs and soaring melodies.
Philadelphia’s own Astrophels has been famously described as the heaviest band at the indie show and the softest band at the metal show, this DIY trio masterfully pairs lyrics-forward vocals with a massive rhythm section and guitars that shift effortlessly from ambient soundscapes to crushing distortion.
Joining them are post-hardcore mainstays With Sails Ahead. Hailing from the vibrant Asbury Park scene, the group fuses progressive math-rock intricately with dueling metallic leads and soaring, pop-infused vocals, having shared stages nationwide with scene giants like Hail the Sun and Royal Coda.
Local post-hardcore punk band The Man and the Machine, hailing straight out of Ambler, PA, has officially been added to the bill!
