Yep, another Lord of the Rings reference. We got to thinking about the Brown Ale style of beers, often diminutive and low profile on any tap list, but yet incredibly easy to drink, versatile and even good to cook with. The style led us to Radagast the Brown, the younger and loonier forest wizard to Gandalf’s more urban sensability, a wizard who travled via the vastly underestimated Rabbits of Rhosgobel. Yeah, we know, we’re nerds. Crisp, refreshing and super drinkable regardless of the time of year. This beer is also the cheese sauce base in many dishes at The Dog and Bull Brew and Music House, our pals down the street.
